Butterflies at Risley Moss

Risley Moss is not managed specifically as a site for butterflies. However, its range of habitats provides opportunities for several butterfly species. 21 species have been recorded at Risley Moss. Of the 21 species that have been seen, only 14 are relatively common. These are:
